Shortlist for London Homelessness Awards Announced!

Six projects make it to shortlist for prestigious 2026 awards

Six projects from across London have been shortlisted for this year’s London Homelessness Awards and are in the running to win a share of the prize fund of £60,000.

The awards are sponsored by the London Homelessness Foundation, London Housing Directors, Mayor of London, Crisis and Shelter. The awards culminate in a high-profile ceremony in central London later this year.

The projects will now be visited by a member of the panel and the final winner and runners up, who will share a prize fund of £60,000, will be announced later this year. The Shelter Experts by Experience panel will also review the six shortlisted applications and give their views.

Simon Dow is the Chair of the judging panel for the London Homelessness Awards. He said: “The judges were once again very impressed with the entries we received, and we have a high-quality shortlist of projects for this year’s award. We saw real evidence of the endless ingenuity and determination of the organisations working with people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. I look forward to finding out more about them and broadcasting their success.”

The six shortlisted projects (in alphabetical order) are:

  • Cambridge House – Safer Renting
  • Centrepoint – Independent Living Programme
  • London Borough of Hackney – The Hackney Edge Advice Drop-In Hub
  • Providence Row – A Place Within Outreach Psychotherapy Service
  • Settle – The Settle Programme
  • The People’s Recovery Project
